2000 Lake Erie Model UN Conference Results

By PHIL FIJALKOVICH

In case anyone wanted to know, here is a quick wrap up of Kent. We took home 2nd place as a team with 38 points, behind Youngstown State, who had 42 I believe. However, as a result of the conference being held over our fall break, we were only able to send a small delegation: 11 delegations, 12 delegates. Nevertheless, 7 of them won awards, which is a tremendous proportion. So, given the small team we sent, this was likely our best performance ever - plus, it finally gives someone else a chance to win this conference. The highlights of the conference were President Peck trying to pick up women that had boyfriends all weekend, and Krazy Kris Waller becoming the most hated delegate ever in a Kent committee.
