Nature Center Cleanup
Men & Women's Cross Country

The cross country team spent the
afternoon at the Shaker Lakes Nature Center, helping to remove some
invasive species from the park grounds. The primary
target for the day was the garlic mustard plant.
World Swim for Malaria
Men &
Women's Swimming
The swimming teams will be
participating in the World Swim for Malaria for the
second year in a row. 100% of the money raised goes to
purchase mosquito nets (around $5 each) that help
prevent the spread of malaria in developing nations.
This year, the swim team has again chosen the
invitational meet at the College of Wooster during the
weekend of November 30th to December 2nd.

the Spartans raised $1,685 to go towards the purchasing
of the mosquito bed nets.

team has adopted a soldier in Iraq. His name
is Nate, he is 21 years
old and from Indianapolis. Throughout the year
they will send him care
packages and correspondence.
