James Silay was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, along with his twin sister Amanda who is attending Waynesburg University for sports broadcasting. As a member of the Class of 2014, James has decided to keep himself busy by joining the Residence Hall Association as an At-Large Representative in the General Body and as a member of the Juniper Council. He has also joined the Emerging Leaders Program, the First Year Spiritual Home program and he hopes to eventually get involved with research. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his friends and participating in sports, like swimming or running. At Case Western Reserve University James had decided to major in biomedical engineering.
