Social Events
In addition to academic and philanthropic events, Alpha Chi Omega also sponsors a variety of social events throughout the year!

An annual formal tradition: building pyramid in our dresses!
Date Party: Held in the fall semester, sisters draw names and go in search of the best date for their assigned sister. The identity of the lucky guy is not revealed until the start of the party.
Crush Party: Sponsored with Phi Mu and held in the spring semester, each sister of Alpha Chi and Phi Mu invites guy friends or *crushes*. The boys never know who has invited them unless the sister writes down clues as to who she is.
Spring Formal: Each spring, sisters get dressed up and go out on the town for a night of dinner and dancing with their guest.
Carnation Ball: Every five years, in honor of our local chapter founding anniversary, our annual formal is expanded as Carnation Ball, including the return of many local alumni to celebrate the date! The 25th year anniversary takes place on September 27, 2008!
Mixers: Alpha Chi mixes with a number of fraternities as well as sororities-- a great way to get to know more of the Greek community! Past mixers have been to go ice skating, philanthropy events, haunted houses, bowling, game nights, dinners, and movie nights.
Sisterhoods: Events such as ice skating, movie nights, retreats, getting ready for Formal, all fall into this category and offer opportunities for our bond of sisterhood to grow stronger!
