ALPHA ETA MU BETA

WHAT WE DO

Alpha Eta Mu Beta works to promote science in engineering in the community.

"Alpha Eta Mu Beta (AEMB) is the Biomedical Engineering honor society founded by Dr. Daniel Reneau of Louisiana Tech University, under the sponsorship of the Alliance for Engineering in Medicine and Biology. The first chapter of AEMB was founded at Louisiana Tech University in 1979 and currently there are 10 chapters located throughout the United States of America.

The purpose of AEMB is to bring into a closer union and to mark in an outstanding manner those Biomedical Engineering students who have manifested a deep interest and marked ability in their chosen life work so as to promote an understanding of their profession and to develop its members professionally." From the AEMB National Website.
