Why is Case Western Reserve University offering this free subscription?
Case Western Reserve University is always looking for ways to better serve its faculty, staff, students, alumni and friends. Many members of the university community use local business news in their teaching, research and other job responsibilities. Case Daily, Case Western Reserve's weekday e-mail newsletter, helps keep members of the university community informed with links to select media summaries. Many media outlets, however, require paid subscriptions. In order to provide faculty, staff, students, alumni and friends full access to all the information in Crain's Cleveland Business—and to Crain's articles in Case Daily—the university's Office of University Relations and Development is teaming with Crain's to provide members of the university community free digital subscriptions.
Who is eligible for this offer?
All current faculty, staff, students, alumni and friends of the university are eligible to sign up for the free digital subscription to Crain's Cleveland Business.
Is the print version of Crain's Cleveland Business included in this offer?
No. You will not receive a print version of Crain's Cleveland Business mailed to your home or office address, but you will receive an e-mail with the print issue of Crain's in PDF format every Monday. To add a print subscription, please call Crain’s at 1-888-909-9111.
Does this subscription give me access to other digital Crain's publications?
No. This free digital subscription offers you full access only to the online version of Crain's Cleveland Business. To get access to other Crain’s publications, please call Crain's at 1-888-909-9111.
How does this free subscription differ from paid digital subscriptions?
It doesn't! Your free digital subscription affords you the ability to choose any or all of the benefits afforded to paid digital subscribers:

When does the free subscription expire?
This free digital subscription is good for one year after you subscribe, at which time the university expects to extend the offer for at least one more year.
How do I subscribe?
In order to receive your free digital subscription to Crain's Cleveland Business, sign up using the online form. The subscription will be activated in five business days after the day you complete the online form.
Do I need a university network ID, @case.edu e-mail address or a computer on the university's network in order to access this offer?
No. All faculty, staff, students, alumni and friends of the university can sign up for this free digital subscription using their current e-mail address. The e-mail does not need to be an @case.edu address. Once your subscription is activated, you can use your e-mail address and password to login to CrainsCleveland.com from any computer with Internet access.
How do I access my subscription once it is activated?
Once your subscription is activated, you will use the e-mail address you submitted with your subscription to log onto the Crain's Web site. The first time you access the site, your password will be that same e-mail address. Once you are logged on, you'll have the ability to set up a unique password.
What do I do if I'm having problems with my access to CrainsCleveland.com?

Why do I need to provide a mailing address for a digital subscription?
Crain's Cleveland Business requires mailing addresses for accounting and auditing purposes.
