Marcie Finney

Marcie Finney, MS - a senior Research Assistant who primarily works on the cardiology initiative. The main objective of this project is to assess the angiogenic potential of stem cells derived from umbilical cord blood and bone marrow in an ischemic model. In addition, the combination of these stem cells and stromal elements will be tested in this system. The current ischemic models include the murine hind-limb injury model and the rat model of LAD ligation.
