Meet the Lab

Karen Snyder, MEd

Karen L. Snyder, MEd, Kent State University, has over 20 years of experience in health sciences communications and project management. In her cross-country and back professional adventure she worked at Kent State University, the University of Pittsburgh, the Menninger Clinic in Kansas, the Annenberg Center for the Health Sciences in Rancho Mirage, CA and Integrated Communications in NJ.  Karen returned home to OH in 1998 and has worked as an independent contractor with clients including Case, the Cleveland Clinic and Respironics.  She joined the Laughlin Lab as a project/grant manager in August of 2006.  She enjoys interfacing with bright young scientists and helping fund and manage meaningful projects with multiple stakeholders.
