Welcome to the Sanders Lab web page.  Under the direction of Dr. Steven Sanders, we are a basic research laboratory in the Department of Biochemistry at Case Western Reserve University.  The goal of our research is to understand how chromatin-modifying enzymes function during DNA Damage response and how deregulation of these enzymes may contribute to the development of cancer.  We are members of the Case Comprehensive Cancer Center, an NCI designated institution devoted to a multi-disciplinary approach to understanding and treating cancer.  We are just a small part of the larger University Circle area.
