Applications for
PGY-1 positions are only accepted through ERAS (Electronic Residency
Application System). Candidates are encouraged to apply early,
as interview slots are limited. We accept applications from International Medical Graduates. However, fluency in oral and written English is a requirement for consideration. For International Medical Graduates, we sponsor J-1 visa only, require less than five years medical school graduation, and minimum USMLE scores of 90.
All PGY-1 positions are selected through the
National Residency Match Program.
Candidates for advanced positions may apply through ERAS
or by paper application. Either the "universal application"
or University
Hospitals of Cleveland Residency Application forms are acceptable
(latter to be provided upon request).
All applications must include medical school
transcripts, Dean's Letter, personal statement, USMLE scores,
and at least three letters of recommendation.
