Calabrese Receives 2006 Ellis Island Medal of Honor

R. Calabrese, MD, will receive the Ellis
Island Medal of Honor for the year 2006, from the National
Ethnic Coalition of Organizations Foundation, Inc. (NECO).
The ceremony will be held in the historic Great Hall on
Ellis Island on May 13, 2006. Both the Senate and House
of Representatives have passed resolutions officially
recognizing the Ellis Island Medal of Honor and it ranks
among the nation's most prestigious award.The Medal of
Honor is presented to outstanding American citizens who
have distinguished themselves.
