SUMMARY

  • Accredited as a dietetic internship by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (http://www.eatright.org/acend/)

  • Member of the Association of Graduate Programs in Public Health Nutrition

  • Program length of 5 semesters includes graduate coursework and a dietetic internship

  • Supervised practice experiences are individualized to match the student's career interests and goals

  • Coursework can begin in the Fall, Spring, or Summer semesters

NOTE

  • Highly Distinguished faculty with low student to faculty ratio

  • Graduates of the Program have a strong background in the science of human nutrition, the science and practice of public health, and direct participation in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of public health nutrition services and programs

  • The faculty and preceptors of the program strive to develop high levels of creativity, critical thinking, and independent practice in our students

  • All students are required to pass a written comprehensive examination as
    Plan B of the Master's Degree

  • A Thesis is NOT required

  • A Verification Statement of internship completion is issued after both the internship and graduate coursework are completed
