Tuition:

        • Tuition at CWRU for the 2009-2010 academic year is $1,375 per credit hour.

        • The tuition cost of the M. S. in Public Health Nutrition Dietetic Internship Program is approximately $38,000.  Housing (~$3,000/semester), transportation (~$200/semester), and personal expenses vary.  Many students share housing to minimize costs. Accident and Sickness Medical Plan offered by the University is $700/semester. Professional liability insurance costs $20/year.

        • Competitive performance-based scholarships are available through the department of Nutrition.  Additionally, the University awards loans based on financial need.

Application Requirements:

        • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree from a university or college that also offers a CADE-accredited or approved Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD).

        • Students who are not currently enrolled in a Didactic Program in Dietetics, or are graduates of a related discipline may however apply for graduate study and meet the required coursework while a graduate student through the CWRU Didactic Program in Dietetics.

        • GRE is not required.

        • Prospective Students must apply to the School of Graduate Studies.  The application to the School of Graduate Studies may be downloaded, printed, and mailed to the Department of Nutrition or submitted electronically.  CLICK HERE to access the application.

  • A separate ADA Dietetic Internship Program Application is NOT required.

  • All applicants to Dietetic Internships (DI) must participate in COMPUTER MATCHING.

    Note that the Program participates in COMPUTER MATCHING twice a year.  Application deadlines coincide with D&D Digital Systems computer matching deadlines in February and September of each year. The program has received approval from CADE to preselect students who do not need to participate in computer matching. These applicants are notified by September 1st and February 1st of their acceptance into the program. If preselected, applicants are required to sign a form to ensure that these applicants are not participating in the computer match. Applicants for the preselect positions who may not be accepted may still apply to the program or any other DI through the computer match.
