Edith LERNER, PhD

    Associate Professor and Department Vice-Chair

        • Dr. Lerner is Vice-Chair of the Department of Nutrition where she also teaches courses in advanced nutrition and maternal and child nutrition. In addition, she is the primary instructor in nutrition for the medical students. In 2006, Dr. Lerner was the proud recipient of the Diekhoff Award for Excellence in graduate school teaching. Currently, she serves on the Board of Trustees for University Hospitals Case Medical Center Health Systems, the Board of the Northeast Ohio Chapter of the American Heart Association, and many other Boards and advisory committees.
