NUTRITION

 
 

          • Tentative completion of an ADA-approved didactic program.
          • Grade point average of at least a "B" in your major, science class, and overall GPA.
          • Related work or volunteer experience preferred.

            Final selection is determined by the Intern Committee after graduate school eligibility status has been determined. After acceptance into the internship program, interns must compete and return the CWRU graduate school application with required application fee (currently $25.00).
    Interested applicants should consider that the following attributes are not required for the program but are beneficial and are looked upon with favor when determining admission status:
    • Computer skill
    • Nutrition therapy, foodservice, and/or community healthcare experience
    • Technical writing skills as evident by the letter of application
    • Creativity
    • Self-confidence
    • "Team Player" attitude
    • Self-motivation
    Membership in the ADA, local and state dietetic associations also demonstrate the importance of affiliation and networking.

    A personal interview is not required for selection. However, a phone interview will be conducted by the program director.
