Program Information
There are research opportunities in the
Department of Nutrition laboratories with numerous
sources of support during the summer. Typically,
the department expects to fund 6 to 8 Summer Research
Fellowships for Case undergraduates who have completed
their second or thrid year.
The summer program is designed to
open a window on research in Nutritional Biochemistry
and Molecular Nutrition. It is open to undergraduates
who are considering graduate or medical studies. Students typically
spend 40 hours a week for up to 10 weeks working
in the lab under the direction of a faculty member.
Requirements include a science major
(usually with a Sophomore status) and an interest
in pursuing a career in the biomedical sciences.
Please refer to the Summer
2004 Fellowship form.
