Research:
I am currently testing the hypothesis that the exosome complex is in fact a group of functionally distinct sub-complexes. To evaluate this hypothesis, I have developed an RNAi system using dsRNAs to deplete individual exosome components, and I am currently using this RNAi system to ascertain the effects of exosome subunit depletion on both exosome structure and function.
