Susan M. Burden-Gulley

Senior Research Associate

Works in: Brady-Kalnay Lab

email: susan.burden-gulley@case.edu

Education:
B.S. in Biology with a minor in Chemistry, Ohio Northern University

Ph.D. in Neurosciences, Case Western Reserve University

Research:
Our lab studies the receptor protein tyrosine phosphatase, PTPmu. The main focus of my research is the development and characterization of PTPmu probes that can be used as diagnostic and therapeutic tools for treatment of glioblastoma multiforme and other cancers. I utilize a variety of imaging techniques, including in vivo fluorescence and magnetic resonance imaging.
