Eric is the primary investigator for the lab, supervising all current research projects. Currently, the main research projects in the lab include work on HIV-1 drug resistance and heterogeneity. In addition to his lab duties, Eric is a professor at Case Western Reserve University, teaching classes in RNA viruses, viral drug resistance, and antivirals. He is also director of the CWRU Center for Aids Research International Core, working with the Joint Clinical Research Center in Kampala, Uganda.
