Andre's research with the Arts Lab included examining HIV-1 entry and its response to CCR5 binding inhibitors. He has also worked on the importance of the efficiency of entry to HIV-1 fitness using a novel yeast recombination system. He is currently a post-doctoral fellow in the Microbiology and Immunology department at Cornell University's Weill Graduate School of Medical Sciences.
