Residency is a very exciting time. Having a strong support network and outlets for stress is very important. As the Assistant Program Director Dr. Cheng will tell you; "Your fellow residents will become your family".

Outside of work it is common for a group of residents to meet up for dinner, a drink (or breakfast) after work. It's become a tradition at the end of each rotation block for everyone to gather, chill out, and relax together. We have residents in all stages and backgrounds of life, but regardless of who you are we make sure everyone feels welcome and part of our family.
