Emergency Medicine Elective Rotation:
We are pleased to offer the 4th year medical student or visiting resident a variety of experiences through exposure to acute emergencies, formal didactics, bedside teaching and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) "ride-alongs". Under the direct supervision and guidance of Emergency Medicine faculty/ residents, students will learn the basic skills in Emergency Medicine and Resuscitation. Our faculty and residents are enthusiastic about teaching which makes the rotation a highly enjoyable educational experience.
Toxicology Elective Rotation:
We are excited to offer 4th year medical students the opportunity to rotate with our nationally-renown attendings in our toxicology department. Opportunities for 4th year medical students include, but are not limited to participating in outpatient toxicology clinic, inpatient consults, research, and shadowing in the Greater Cleveland Poison Control Center, located in University Hospitals Cleveland. Please contact Amy Lovano to explore your opportunities with us - we will gladly customize a rotation to fit your interests!
