How to Get Into the School of Medicine:
Visitor access to the School of Medicine is limited. There are two entry points for guests of the Department of Bioethics.
- For visitors arriving by rapid transit, cab, or on foot from surface parking lots, the main entrance is off of Adelbert Road between Rainbow Babies and Childrens Hospital and Campus Security. There is a sign on Adelbert directing visitors to the School of Medicine. Inform the guard at the Security Desk that you are a guest of the Department of Bioethics.
- Those visitors arriving in their own automobiles who park in the Health Sciences parking garage on Circle Drive, should enter through the School of Medicine’s brown visitors’ door. When you get to the glass doors, turn right and inform the guard at the Security Desk that you are a guest of the Department of Bioethics.
How to Get to the Department of Bioethics:
We are on the first floor of the School of Medicine. The School is divided into the East Wing, Sears Tower, and the West Wing. When security buzzes you into the building, you will enter through the glass doors. You will see vending machines on your left. Walk past the machines and turn left. When you get to the end of the hall, turn left and left again to enter the elevator area. Take the elevator to the first floor. Diagonally across from the elevators on the right, you will see steps and glass doors indicating that this is the Department of Bioethics. If you have problems finding our office, call 368-6196 from a campus phone.
