Measurement & Analysis Core
CGREAL faculty will also have access to the services of the
existing Measurement and Analysis Core that Laura Siminoff directs
for CWRU's Ireland Cancer Center, an NIH-designated comprehensive
cancer center. Drs. Siminoff, Patricia Marshall, Nahida Gordon,
and the staff of the Core will provide CGREAL investigators
with methodological expertise on the design of interviews, focus
groups, and questionnaire studies, the development of new psychological
measurements, and biostatistical analysis. We are particularly
fortunate to be able to depend on this core because its focus
to date on supporting cancer communication research provides
just the kinds of experience the CGREAL investigators will require
in developing their own research into the dynamics of human
