Created by the Harvard Stem Cell Institute and the Department of Bioethics at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, this intensive summer seminar addresses the major issues in the science, ethics, and policies of stem cell research. This course will facilitate a fuller appreciation of the ethical and policy issues at the cutting edge of stem cell science by simultaneously providing a sound grasp of the science of stem cell research. No prior knowledge of stem cell biology is necessary.

Program
Beginning Thursday morning, June 23, the in-depth seminar will include topical lectures, case studies and discussions through Sunday afternoon, June 26. Participants also will have the opportunity to interact informally with each other as well as the instructors and take in all that Boston has to offer. Attendees will receive a certificate of completion from the Harvard Stem Cell Institute and the Department of Bioethics at Case Western Reserve University.
