ORGANIZATION INNOVATION AWARD

(Awarded to an Organization)

The recipient of this award must be an organization in Northeast Ohio and will be chosen based on the following criteria:

1. Record of innovation

   • Inventiveness in creating new or reshaping traditional products or services that have demonstrably increased the organization's value and effectiveness to the community
   • Clear record of accomplishment in addressing significant constituent challenges
   • Ability to create breakthrough solutions that withstand the test of time

2. Expansion beyond traditional organizational boundaries

   • Creativity in addressing urgent, relevant and complex problems
   • Promotion of cross-functional teamwork within and outside the organization
   • Collaboration within and/or outside the sector to create value added products or services

3. Creation of a culture/climate of innovation within the organization

   • Established record of rewarding creativity, new ideas and fresh perspectives
   • Organizational effectiveness at identifying pressing civic/community needs and anticipating and responding to future challenges
   • Encouragement of high levels of individual initiative
