Research Seminar Series Gets a Fresh Look
The Mandel Center's Research Seminar Series kicked off in mid-October with "Moving Beyond the 'Hood: A Journey of Acculturation - A Comparative Analysis of Oral Tradition Among Marginalized and Affluent African-American Men." The seminar was presented by Dr. Craig E. Soaries, Senior Lecturer at Weatherhead School of Management, with discussant David Miller, Ph.D, Associate Professor, Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences.
A diverse audience of Case Western Reserve University faculty and students and nonprofit practitioners attended the discussion.
