Faculty Highlights

Diana Bilimoria, Associate Professor of Organizational Behavior at Weatherhead School of Management, served as moderator for a panel of women entrepreneurs sharing lessons learned about business during a seminar held in February at the school. Brian Gran, Assistant Professor of Sociology at the College of Arts & Sciences, has been invited to serve on the UNICEF Innocenti Research Centre's Expert and Scientific Committee on Independent Human Rights Institutions for Children.

David C. Hammack, Hiram C. Haydn Professor of History at the College of Arts & Sciences, recently wrote an article entitled "American Debates on the Legitimacy of Foundations: Historical Perspectives," which was featured in The Legitimacy of Philanthropic Foundations: United States and European Perspectives, edited by Kenneth Prewitt, Mattei Dogan, Steven Heydemann, and Stefan Toepler, (New York: Russell Sage Foundation, 2006). Professor Hammack also wrote "Historical Research for the Nonprofit Sector," which was featured in Nonprofit Management and Leadership, Volume 16, Issue 4 (Summer 2006).
