Jean Kilgore, Ph.D. Joins Staff as Director of Professional Development Programs
The Mandel Center is very pleased to announce that Jean Kilgore, Ph.D. joined the staff as Director of Professional Development Programs in early July. Jean is currently the instructor for the Mandel Center's marketing course, and she has also taught for the Weatherhead School of Management in the MBA program and the undergraduate program.
Jean has created and taught executive education and professional development programs both in previous positions and at the Weatherhead School. Recently, Jean has also been doing considerable work in distance learning. Jean will be bringing these skills and knowledge to the continued development of the Center's professional development programs.
Jean has an undergraduate degree from Baldwin-Wallace College, a Master of Arts in comparative literature from New York University, and an MBA and Ph.D. from Case. She has held a variety of senior administrative positions with organizations including the Eliza Jennings Senior Care Network, Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital, and the Institute for Child Advocacy.
"Having worked in the nonprofit sector for so long, I've known about the Center since it was founded and I truly value my association with it," Jean said. "I believe in its mission and think the staff is terrific. I'm honored to be working with them in this new capacity at such an exciting time for the Center."
Jean began her work with the Center in July on a part-time basis and maintain her appointment as Senior Lecturer at the Weatherhead School. Please join us in welcoming Jean in her new role.
