Celebration Held in Honor of Mandel Center Students
On November 9, 2005, the Mandel Center staff and faculty hosted a Student Appreciation Celebration in the Center's offices. Approximately 45 students, faculty, and staff members were in attendance for this fun and casual event held in honor of the students' hard work and dedication to excellence in nonprofit management.
In an open-house type fashion, all Mandel Center staff members welcomed guests into their individual office spaces, where they each offered a special appetizer or dessert. A student raffle was also held with prizes including gift certificates to The Melting Pot, The House of Blues, Crocker Park, Barnes & Noble, Coldstone Creamery, and Starbucks, along with other goodies. Congratulations to the winners of those great prizes: Teresa Goldfarb, Julie Goldstein, Melissa Haley, and Stephanie Raufman.
Because the evening was such a success, the Mandel Center hopes to hold more student appreciation events in the future.
