STUDENT CENTER Graduation Celebration Honors 49 Graduates The Mandel Center for Nonprofit Organizations hosted a graduation celebration on May 16 to honor the 49 graduates from its various programs this year. Executive Director Susan Eagan spoke at the ceremony, congratulating the 25 Masters of Nonprofit Organizations, 18 Certificate of Nonprofit Management and 6 Executive Director and Nonprofit Fellow students receiving their degrees. Jill Paulsen was recognized as the Mandel Center's Student of the Year, a peer-nominated award, for her achievements as a full-time student in the Master of Nonprofit Organizations degree program, President of the Mandel Center's Student Leadership Committee, and winner of the first George Gund Foundation Fellowship, among other accomplishments. Susan Eagan also acknowledged the Dean's Academic Achievement Award Winners: Julie Glavan, Nora Hennessy, Jill Paulsen, Masataka Uo, and Danny Williams. This year's recipient of the Mandel Center Teaching Award was Eileen Doherty, who has demonstrated her dedication to the development of Mandel Center students and their educational experience by creating a dynamic, high impact learning environment within the classroom. The Mandel Center would like to thank the faculty and special guests who attended and helped make the graduation celebration such a special and fun event.
