Check out the Center's building as featured in Properties magazine.
The Mandel Center's new building is finally a reality! On August 7, 2006, the construction management team began site preparation work. The Center's new home was open in time to welcome the Fall 2007 incoming class.
This new building represents a tremendous step forward for the Mandel Center, and is representative of the stature the Mandel Center has as a leading national program. We are all deeply grateful to the Mandel family for its generosity and sustained commitment to the Center.
The building enables the Center to have for the first time a focal point and a true "home" for its faculty, students, staff, alumni, and nonprofit professionals who participate in the Center's research and education programs. It will be equipped for distance learning and video conferencing which will help to expand the Center's educational, scholarly, and convening opportunities locally, nationally, and internationally. The Center will utilize its new space to host distinguished visiting scholars and practitioners, and to provide a location for nonprofit professionals and faculty to develop and "incubate" innovations in nonprofit leadership and management. The Mandel Center also continues to be the proud host and home of the Nonprofit Academic Centers Council (NACC) headquarters, a membership association of academic centers dedicated since 1991 to the networking and support of centers that provide education and academic services for the nonprofit/nongovernmental sector and philanthropy.
