Liz grew up in San Diego, California and earned her B.A. with honors from the University of California, Irvine before completing her MA in Women and Gender Studies from the University of Cincinnati. Liz seeks to advocate and support all LGBTQIA students, faculty, staff and alumni by providing them with resources, connections and information. She also provides the Safe Zone workshops to campus constituents every semester, with almost 400 individuals having completed the workshop since the program’s inception in March 2010. Her office is located in the LGBT Center, off of the Hart Crane Reading Room and she welcomes all visitors either by appointment or drop-in. In her spare time Liz attempts to perfect her butterfly swim stroke, make copious amounts of her signature guacamole and hang out with her partner and close friends.

Chris grew up in Strongsville, OH and is in his first year as a graduate student at the Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences. Chris is working towards a degree in Social Work with a specialization in Children, Youth, and Families. He is extremely excited to be working at the Center and welcomes you all to stop by for a visit!

Brandi is from Greenville, PA and is a first year graduate student of the Kent State University Higher Education Administration program. She currently works in the Greek Life Office of Case Western as the Greek Life Assistant for Leadership. Brandi is very excited to be interning in the LGBT Center this semester and looks forward to continuing to learn from the excellent students and staff of CWRU!

Celena Kopinski is a senior medical anthropology, business and psychology student who may be somewhat in denial about graduating. She enjoys reading, watching movies, trying out new restaurants and making jewelry in her "spare time" (if such a thing exists). Drop by to chat, hang out, and play board games (because you have to balance out all the studying somehow).

Tyler is a junior from Avon Lake, Ohio currently studying biomedical engineering . He enjoys listening to country music and reading horror stories in his spare time. He’s also extremely excited to be working at the LGBT center this year!

Jake is a 4th year student who made his way over to Ohio from the small town of Bemus Point, NY. He's a biochemistry major with plans to study medicine one day soon, but is content learning Chinese and exploring other passions until then. If you ever need help, or just want to meet someone new, stop by and say hey!

Sue is from Fort Worth, Texas and makes a lot of jokes about it. She is a sophomore majoring in Marketing and minoring in approximately four other things, among them, Arabic. She runs a fashion blog and plays lots of board and video games in her free time.

I'm Pedro Reyes, from Los Angeles, California. I'm a sophomore studying Computer Science at Case to hopefully one day work for Google. During my free time, I volunteer tutoring inner city kids, and participate in Greek Life events.

Jeremy is originally from Long Island, New York. He is currently studying his second year of chemical engineering. He likes horror movies, dolphins, and horror movies about dolphins. He enjoys a good conversation and helping people out, so be sure to stop by to chat!

Connor is a junior biochemistry major who is also working towards a computer science minor. He enjoys fencing, board games, and reading a random book occasionally. He also loves to talk, so come visit sometime!
