The LL.M. program provides students ample opportunity to practice language skills, interact with J.D. students and work with practicing American attorneys.
Program features, such as full integration into intellectual and professional life within Cleveland's legal and university communities, summer internships and LL.M. social activities, generate an enriching and well-rounded experience. Students graduate from the LL.M. program with a strong education in international law, as well as firm grounding in global interactions and the American legal system.
Our local legal community, including the program director, law school administrators and student mentors, offer LL.M. students academic guidance and act as lifelong connections for students around the world.
Student mentors make fast friends with LL.M. counterparts and help foreign students integrate into the community and plan social activities.
Qualified LL.M. students often pursue summer internships (following program completion) with law firms, corporations and courts to experience the practice of American law.
Designed to prepare foreign graduates for global legal practice in their home (or other) countries, the LL.M. program provides students opportunity to interact and work with J.D. students and practicing attorneys.
When the law books close, the LL.M. experience opens a new world of cultural experiences, city-living and networking within the legal community and beyond.
