The Office of International Student Services assists all foreign students with non-academic concerns.
The office acts as a liaison with off-campus agencies, such as the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service, the U.S. Department of State, embassies, educational consular offices, the International Institute of Education, and Fulbright-Hays grant offices.
The international student advisor serves as an advocate for international students, with the goal of ensuring that each student has the best possible educational, cultural, and personal experience at Case Western Reserve University. The office sponsors an International Club for all students, an annual international dinner, cross-cultural workshops, a student lounge and study room, field trips, and several social gatherings.
Case Western Reserve University has been authorized under federal law to enroll non-immigrant alien students on both F-1 and J-1 visas.
