The LL.M. degree program at Case Western Reserve School of Law offers a competitive, yet nurturing, learning experience for foreign graduates who are ready to meet the challenges of law practice in a global economy.
The one-year, full-time Master of Laws program has been designed to give foreign-trained lawyers the opportunity to study the American legal system and learn about international law and trade while pursuing the full intellectual life of a Case Western Reserve law student.
Candidates should be inquisitive, high-achieving graduates who have received a university-level law degree from a foreign institution and wish to enrich their legal education with a rigorous program at one of the nation's best law schools.

Admissions decisions for the LL.M. program consider the candidate's ability to thrive in a demanding academic program, as evidenced in his or her academic record and professional accomplishments. We're looking for thoughtful, curious students whose experience and achievements promise to add richness to the quality of our program—within and beyond the classroom.
