Housing costs are not included in the tuition fee. We will assist all participants in finding suitable housing. Please plan to arrive on campus a week prior to the beginning of the program, especially if you are moving here with your family. Early arrival will give you time to settle before classes begin. Temporary dormitory housing is available through the University Housing office when you first arrive on campus. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
The Summer Language and Law Institute participants are required to have medical insurance coverage. Coverage is available through the university at the fee of approximately $150. Your coverage begins on the day you arrive on campus. If you have other medical insurance coverage, you can waive the University insurance plan.
To register for the institute, please fill out the online registration form no later than June 30, 2014. No registration fee or deposit is required. The school, however, must receive your full payment of $2,250 no later than July 11, 2014.
If you cancel your enrollment prior to the start of the program, you will be eligible for a full refund of the $2,250 tuition, as well as any health insurance charges. During the program, a refund of tuition will be given only if 1) you become ill and withdraw entirely from the program with a doctor's statement that you are unable to attend classes; or 2) you return permanently to your home country for any reason. Refunds for tuition are calculated from the last recorded hour of attendance and are based on the hourly rate of $15.00. There will be no refund after the 61st hour of the program. Health insurance charges are not refundable.
Application: June 30, 2014. Payment due of $2,250: No later than Friday, July 11, 2014.
