Cisco TelePresence Systems (CTS) are videoconferencing solutions with High Definition (HD) video and high sound quality. CTS come in the following models on campus:
Cisco TelePresence Systems use ten digit numbers to call each other, e.g. 216.754.2102. They easily connect with other Cisco TelePresence sites and Jabber desktop users.
To communicate with other forms of videoconferencing technology, such as Cisco Tandberg, Polycom, LifeSize, Mondopad and Scopia units, as well as Scopia desktop users, the CTS unit and other participants must be able to connect to a special bridge number that can be reached by both TelePresence and IP numbers (e.g., 18.104.22.168 and 1.216.754.2102). Please fill out the Videoconference Request Form for assistance in coordinating a connection.
