Our workstation and server support staff provides troubleshooting and consulting services to users and system administrators of UNIX workstation systems at case. They diagnose and solve technical problems, offer advice about purchases of new systems and peripherals, assist with upgrades and new configurations, enhance system security, and guide less-experienced system administrators in the effective use of their systems. Whenever necessary, they will collaborate with other CASE ITS specialists and with vendor support personnel to solve your workstation and server problems. They also assist with the distribution of site-licensed UNIX and OpenVMS software and licenses. Workstation support services are provided free of charge, and the staff does its best to assist you as quickly as they can.
