Gary R. Bertoline has been Professor of Computer Graphics Technology at Purdue University since 1990, where he served as Department Head from 1995 until 2002. He also currently serves as Associate Vice President for Discovery Resources and Director of the Envision Center for Data Perceptualization in the Office of the Vice President for Information Technology at Purdue. Previously he has held faculty positions at Ohio State University and Wright State University . Dr. Bertoline has published extensively on computer graphics and has written three widely used textbooks in the field. He received his Ph.D. in Industrial Technology from Ohio State .
