Faculty Technology Showcase


The Faculty Technology Showcase on October 30, 2007 will be a great opportunity for faculty to exchange information on using technologies creatively in teaching, learning and research, and this is your chance to participate!

We invite you to submit a proposal to share your technology experiences and ideas with other Case faculty. Proposals may be for 20-min stage presentation, poster session, or innovation demonstration.

1. Presentation:
Present a 20 minute session, including a question and answer period, describing a technology that works well for you in teaching and/or research. Presentations will be given in a designated presentation area of the ballroom.

2. Poster Session:
Present a poster about an emerging technology/project that works for your class. Poster sessions will be given throughout the Showcase, and poster presenters should be available for at least two hours during the day. All poster presenters will have a six foot table, power, other special requests if possible, and a 4X6 corkboard. To fit within this display area, poster size should be limited to 42 inches high by approximately 68 inches wide.

3. Demonstration:
Demonstrate a technology innovation at your booth that you use for your teaching and/or research needs. Demonstration sessions will occur throughout the Showcase. All demonstrators should be available for at least two hours during the Showcase. Demonstrators will be provided with a booth (a six foot table), a 4X6 corkboard and will be accommodated with power and other requests, if possible.
