We are seeking presentation proposals for the first annual Faculty Technology Showcase . This event will highlight faculty use of technology in teaching and provide the campus an opportunity to explore instructional technology innovations first hand.

•  Learn about clickers in the classroom  •  See the latest version of Blackboard  •  Interact with MediaVision Courseware  •  See the latest Digital Poster Builder  •  Learn about Second Life  •  Learn about innovative uses of video conferencing  •  Learn about enhancements to Blackboard  •  Interact with the latest classroom technologies

If you would like to participate in a session at the annual showcase, there are three options to choose from:

• Presentation sessions: short presentation on experiences in using technology. Presentation sessions are scheduled for 20 minutes, including question-and-answer periods. These will be held at a designated area in the ballroom.

• Innovation demonstrations: demonstrations of learning or research technologies.
  Poster sessions and innovation demonstration sessions will be presented throughout the Showcase. It is an expectation that these presenters will be available for, at least two hours. All presenters must sign up for preferred times when they will be available.

• Poster sessions: formal poster display and discussion.
  Demonstrators will be provided with a booth (a six foot table), a 4X6 corkboard and will be accommodated with power and other requests, if possible. Poster presenters will have a six foot table, power, other special requests if possible, and a 4X6 corkboard.

We are requesting that all presenters make handouts available.
