Services

Faculty Support Services at Case

Instructional Technology and Academic Computing (ITAC) provides support for Case faculty enabling them to integrate technology into teaching and learning processes. Arrays of services are provided including:

1.
consultation with Case faculty to analyze instructional problems and design, before applying technological solutions
2.
consultation with Case faculty in the application of instructional design and the use of instructional technology tools in the delivery of instruction
3.
assistance in the development, design, programming, and assessment of web-based teaching and learning materials
4.
assistance in defining instructional and assessment strategies for course redesign in a technology rich environment
5.
assistance with multimedia design, development, and production
6.
exploration and recommendation of emerging technologies for use by Case faculty
7.
support for the Blackboard Community Portal and Learning Management System
8.
face to face and online training in the use of technology in teaching and learning
9.
collaboration with Case faculty and other units on campus to incorporate an assessment component as part of all major instructional development projects
