Welcome to Case Western Reserve University 's BigIP Big Videoconferencing project!  Our goal is to enahnce the university's communications by enabling videoconferencing technology on the desktop, in conference rooms and classrooms throughout the campus.  The BigIP BigVideo web contains information to help you utilize the services and technology related to videoconferencing here at CWRU.

 

What is Videoconferencing?

Videoconferencing is the transmission of synchronized video and audio between two or more locations. The conference simulates "face-to-face" communication between two or more participants. This is accomplished through the use of cameras, video displays, microphones and speakers at each location (more.)
