Dr. Miller explores the meaning of feminism and its impact on U.S. culture.

Race and Feminism: Myths and Realities

This talk examines the connections and disconnections between feminism and race as well as the relationships of white women and women of color.

The Relationship of Lesbianism and Feminism

Dr. Miller discusses the connections and conflicts that arise in cultural assumptions about feminism and lesbianism and answers the question "Do you have to be a lesbian to be a feminist?"

Women and Public Policy: What have we Gained and What's Left?

This speech focuses on the gains women have made via changes in the law over the past 60 years and speculates on what has been left undone.
