Download Spark from the Software Center and double click on the Spark file to install.
After installing the client, log into system using your Case network ID and password. Be sure the Server name is im.case.edu. Click Login.
You're all set up!
Add a contact
Click on Contacts menu item and select Add Contact.
In the Username field enter the Case network ID of the user. In the Nickname Field enter the name that will appear in the Contact List. In the Group field enter the group the new contact should be added. This field can be left blank. Click on the Add button.
The user is added to your list!
To minimize Spark
To minimize Spark to the taskbar, click on the X in the upper right hand corner.
