Merger of Case and WRU Varsity Athletic Teams
Despite federation of Case and WRU to create Case Western Reserve University
on July 1, 1967, both schools continued separate intercollegiate varsity sports
programs. Between November 1969 and May 1972, varsity teams from Case and WRU
merged.
