Plans in Motion

The international planning process initiated by the Office of Global Strategy involves numerous voices from the campus community—including faculty, staff, and students—as well as a number of others from outside the university who envision a more internationalized Case Western Reserve.

To put these plans in motion, the provost has charged the International Planning Committee with examining the current state of internationalization at the university, identifying best practices, projecting future trends in globalization and developing strategic goals for the next three to five years and beyond. The committee will present its full report and recommendations to the provost. Review a progress report.

A number of working groups support the International Planning Committee. Learn more about these working groups and the charge of each group.

The American Council on Education has been engaged to advise the International Planning Committee throughout the planning process. The ACE Center for International Initiatives has extensive experience in helping higher education institutions enhance internationalization. Case Western Reserve is a member of the 2010-11 cohort of the ACE Internationalization Laboratory.
