General guidelines for a traditional Faculty award


Application deadline: August 1 each year

The traditional Fulbright Scholar Program sends 800 U.S. faculty and professionals abroad each year. Grantees lecture and conduct research in a wide variety of academic and professional fields.

The competition for traditional Fulbright Scholar awards is open to faculty, staff, administrators, retired members of the CWRU community, and adjunct faculty are able to apply for grants.

The awards vary from two months to an academic year or longer. While foreign language skills are needed in some countries, most lecturing assignments are in English.
