How to Apply and Register:
Students begin by completing an application through The Office of Education Abroad website. Once they have been accepted into the study abroad program, students will register for the course through the Case Western Reserve Student Information System. Be sure to read all the course information in order to resolve any schedule conflicts ahead of time.
The Office of Education Abroad will contact all registered students during the semester they are registered, in order to attend an orientation with their office. Some programs may conduct their own program specific orientation as well.
In addition to regular semester tuition, students pay a program fee for faculty-led study abroad. This fee typically includes accommodation, meals, local travel, materials and some cultural activities as well as a portion of faculty expenses. The program fee will include international airfare if there is a group flight for the program. In cases where there is not a group flight, students will be instructed to meet in-country on a designated date to be determined by the professor, and will be responsible for making their own travel arrangements. The fee for each program will be made available on the Office of International Programs website on each program page. Students will be asked to submit a deposit at the time of application. The remainder of the fee will be billed to their CWRU tuition bill.
